The Utah Hockey Club played their first regular-season game in franchise history against the Chicago Blackhawks.
The opening face off featured a surprise as Lauri Markkanen of the Utah Jazz skated out to drop the ceremonial puck alongside the new captain of the Blackhawks, Nick Foligno, and the new captain of the Utah Hockey Club, Clayton Keller.
